Night Court - Orchis House

The Orchis House canon is mirth.  Members of Orchis believe that when Naamah offered herself to the King of Persis, she did so for a lark.
House motto: Joy in laughter.

Orchis House, in the words of its members:

As you enter through the front doors, you hear laughter ringing in the hallways. The atmosphere is relaxed and soothing. Fabric hangs from the ceilings and covers the walls - rich shades of blues and greens and browns. Gold candelabras, gilded chairs and picture frames add a hint of glitter. The adepts dressed in Grecian style gowns and tunics of white linen with golden girdles, hair piled atop the head in a riot of curls, lounge on velvet pillows. Some play a musical instrument, others read poetry, and still others play games. Out in the gardens, patrons and adepts alike are seen strolling among colorful orchids or sitting near the koi pond. Fountains burble cheerfully. Butterflies hover above the riot of flowers while birds float lazily on the breeze. The initiates of Orchis can be found playing tag on the lawn when they are not at some task, such as fanning a patron with a large feathered fan or serving refreshments. The adepts of Orchis are like the Muses of Greek Mythology, helping to inspire our patrons.
